Think you know cinema? Test your knowledge at Reel Trivia on Thursday, July 23, hosted by Wooden Robot’s own legendary Trivia Host, David Ledbetter! The evening will also include live music performed by True Optimist and along with prizes and complimentary samples provided by Pilot Brewing.

Meet Our Host

David Ledbetter is the creator and host of Wooden Robot Trivia, leading weekly games at both of the brewery’s Charlotte taprooms—Tuesdays in South End and Thursdays in NoDa. A Charlotte native, David has been hosting trivia throughout the greater Charlotte area for more than five years. In 2025, Wooden Robot Trivia was named runner-up for Charlotte’s Best Trivia Night in Queen City Nerve’s annual Best in the Nest competition. Depending on the day that you ask him, David’s favorite movie is either THE PRINCESS BRIDE, BACK TO THE FUTURE, or TOMBSTONE.
