Ticketing and Memberships

Ticketing refund and exchange requests can be made but are not guaranteed to be honored. No reselling of tickets. Our memberships hold no cash value and are nonrefundable. Memberships are nontransferable to other people. All donations made to the Charlotte Film Society are tax deductible to the extent allowable by law and are nonrefundable. No goods or services are exchanged for such donations. No entrance to the cinemas without a ticket. No one under the age of 17 will be allowed to purchase tickets to R rated and Unrated films. Children 13 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

Theater Conduct

No talking, texting, or cellphone use in the cinemas. No recording or photography during movies. No feet on the seat backs or armrests. Shirts & shoes must be worn at all times. No outside food or beverage in the building. No pets allowed in the cinemas. No solicitation. No loitering. No smoking, including the use of electronic cigarettes. No alcohol permitted outside the building. No weapons of any kinds, or object that appear to be weapons (including props, squirt guns, etc.) in building. No threatening of any person, whether patron or cinema staff. No other items or behaviors that staff determines as harmful or disruptive. The Independent Picture House reserves the right to amend this code of conduct at any time, and to remove or ban you from the premises for repeated violation of these terms.
