IPH Book Club Discussion – “Misery”
- Sun, May 3
Run Time: 120 min.
The discussion will take place on Sunday, May 3 at 2pm. The IPH Book Club Discussion is free to attend, but registration is required. Book Club attendees can stay after for a screening of MISERY (tickets can be purchased here).
“Misery” is a gripping psychological thriller by Stephen King that delves into obsession, survival, and the darker sides of human nature. Told with intense suspense and unforgettable characters, the novel explores the complex relationship between creator and admirer, keeping readers on the edge of their seats and questioning how far someone will go when pushed to their limits.
This book club discussion will be facilitated by Claire Lechtenberg, Director of Development & Marketing (IPH), and Nathan Rouse (Troubadour Books).

Claire Lechtenberg studied English Literature: Creative Writing and Communications at Queens University of Charlotte. You can often find her at IPH talking about movies, podcasts, her puppy (Samwise), and the importance of a thriving art community in the Queen City.
Nathan Rouse is a husband, a girl dad, a regular podcaster, an occasional moviegoer, an intermittent theater producer, an enduring fool for hope, and an eternal FoGger. You can hear him weekly at fogpod.com.
