CHILL at IPH
Join UNC Charlotte’s College of Humanities & Earth and Social Sciences (CHESS) and The Independent Picture House (IPH) for the second year of the CHESS Initiative of Lifelong Learning (CHILL)!
This summer series comprises a full schedule of short, multisession workshops for those hungry for community, intellectual stimulation, or just a place to get away from internet streaming during summer months. CHILL workshops cover topics with easy introductions to the biggest questions of our time or tap into your creative side.
All classes start at 10am and are done by 12pm and take place at IPH.
Registration is $150 (individuals register for an entire session to attend all four courses).
All CHILL at IPH classes:
- Are taught by faculty with distinguished records of teaching and research.
- Are designed to be accessible to all students, no matter what they may know or not know about the class’s topic.
- Have minimal homework and no formal tests.
- Include “CHILL time” when classmates can talk informally with each other and their professor about class content.
