Told in real-time, “The Punishment” opens with two parents searching for their missing boy in a Chilean forest. Minutes earlier, Ana and Mateo had left their 7-year-old son alone by the side of the road for misbehaving. As they look for him with the help of a local police officer, the couple will face some uncomfortable truths about their relationship and their role as parents.

Narrada en tiempo real, “El castigo” comienza con dos padres en búsqueda de su hijo desaparecido en un bosque chileno. Minutos antes, Ana y Mateo habían dejado solo al niño de 7 años a un lado de la carretera por portarse mal. Mientras lo buscan con la ayuda de una oficial de la policía local, la pareja se enfrentará a algunas verdades incómodas sobre su relación y su papel como padres.
