Shakieta Maloye, Another Chance: House of Refuge, Inc. In September 2019, Shakieta Maloye lost her mother. Two months later, she turned that grief into a mission. Inspired by the women in her family who opened their homes as a refuge to family, friends, and strangers, she founded Another Chance House of Refuge, a faith-based nonprofit in Charlotte that provides transitional housing, permanent housing, reentry support, and wraparound care for people others have written off.
Today she is a CEO, author of Paradise, speaker, coach, founder of Pure Wisdom Global, and owner of Another Chance Bail Bonds.
