Doreen Spicer-Dannelly is an American writer, producer, and director. A native New Yorker who relocated to Los Angeles, she has built a career creating impactful family and youth-centered entertainment across television, animation, and film.

Her credits include the Disney Channel record-breaking film Jump In! (8.2 million viewers), as well as producing and developing the acclaimed animated series The Proud Family. She also created the animated pilot Coqui Loco and produced the internationally distributed tween series The Wannabes, which aired in over 100 countries.

Spicer began her career working on shows including Hangin’ with Mr. Cooper, Martin, The Cosby Show, The Jamie Foxx Show, and The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, steadily advancing from production roles into writing and development.
