In small clumsy letters, he wrote: April 4th, 1984.” — To celebrate the 75 Anniversary of the publishing of George Orwell’s novel and the 40 Anniversary of the film, IPH presents a special screening of Michael Radford’s film on the day protagonist Winston Smith begins rebelling against his oppressive government by keeping a forbidden diary.
