LEFT ON PEARL is a fast-paced, funny, 55-minute documentary about a highly significant but little-known chapter in the history of the Women’s Liberation Movement, the 1971 takeover and occupation of a Harvard University-owned building by hundreds of women that led to the founding of the first Women’s Center in the United States.

This screening is presented by the League of Women Voters. Viewers are encouraged to attend a pre-screening gathering in the Champa and Vasant Community Space from 1pm – 2pm to learn more about how to participate.
