There is widespread agreement that there are numerous individual and societal benefits of young people’s participation in clubs. But participation is on the decline overall. This is one factor fueling a crisis of loneliness. The award-winning film Join or Die (Why You Should Join a Club) is based on social research that shows the best way to turn things around is to increase involvement and engagement.
