
- No refunds, exchanges or reselling of tickets.
- Memberships are valid for 1 year from date of purchase. Memberships hold no cash value and are nonrefundable. Memberships are nontransferable.
- Donations made to the Charlotte Film Society are tax deductible to the extent allowable by law and are nonrefundable. No goods or services are exchanged for such donations.
- No entrance to the cinemas without a ticket.
- No one under the age of 17 will be allowed to purchase tickets to R rated and Unrated films.
- Children 13 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
- No talking, texting, or cellphone use in the cinemas.
- No recording or photography during movies.
- No feet on the seat backs or armrests.
- Shirts & shoes must be worn at all times.
- No outside food or beverage in the building.
- No pets allowed in the cinemas.
- No solicitation.
- No loitering.
- No smoking, including the use of electronic cigarettes.
- No alcohol permitted outside the building.
- No weapons of any kinds, or object that appear to be weapons (including props, squirt guns, etc.) in building.
- No threatening of any person, whether patron or cinema staff.
- No other items or behaviors that staff determines as harmful or disruptive.
- The Independent Picture House reserves the right to amend this code of conduct at any time.
